The Priorities at East

          Learning to Learn   -    Identifying, exploring and making explicit the various strategies we can give to our students, to help them to learn.  Literacy strategies are a crucial first step for many of our students, that need to be supported, before they can even really begin to engage in their learning.

         Inclusive Environment -    Making all student's feel welcome, safe and cared for is a priority, both on a human, ethical level, and also for the clear relationship between students who feel happy at school and those who succeed through it.  This page outlines the core structures and strategies we pursue to

          Blended Learning  -   As digital technology becomes more ubiquitous throughout our society and occupies an increasingly prominent and important role in the lives of our young people, we take the question of "How does digital technology fit into education?" very seriously, and approach it through a variety of means.   Click here to familiarise yourself with various digital systems we use at WEGC.
